‘Kambakht Ishq’ gets an A!

Just the promos of the film have been released and the Censor Board has slapped an A certificate on the film. We are talking about the Akshay Kumar-Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘Kambakht Ishq’. The film has been directed by Sajid Nadiadwala. Receiving an adult certificate from the Censor Board has sure been a let down for the entire team of this flick.

The promo of this film that was decided to go live from this weekend has been stopped. Since it has received an ‘A’ the promo cannot be telecast on television too. It can be screened during intervals in theatres that screen adult films. The regional Officer of the Censor Board Mr. Azad has nodded an affirmative with regard to this issue.

Commenting on the rushes of ‘Kambakht Ishq’ the officer declared that Kareena and Akshay swear at each other in the promo. All that apart, there is also a dialogue that suggests women are just meant for the bedroom. Looks like the Board found this very inappropriate, hence the certificate.

Well we hope women’s organizations don’t drag the makers of the film to the court pointing out the same issue.
